I make the personal pledge to abide by the code of conduct listed below in both my business and personal dealings. As a Service Provider/Small Business Owner, I understand and accept my responsibiliy to be a model of mental health awareness, ethical behavior & kindness in order to promote growth and wellbeing of myself and those I service.

I vow to accept, validate & encourage both myself and those around me to express themselves in the ways they prefer without the pressure of supposed 'ideal beauty standards.'

With the goal of redefining the term 'ideal beauty standards,' I refuse to let outside pressures determine the choices of myself or my patrons beauty routine, products & services. I will put priority on a healthy & knowledgeable technique within any services I provide, promoting proper hygiene & freedom of self expression.

I will promote mental health awareness & body positivity. I fully understand that an individuals personal health choices are none of my business, and their health history is unique to them. Without knowing ones full health history, background & experiences, judging or making assumptions about ones choices is foolish & destructive. I agree that 'healthy' looks different on everyone, and will lovingly accept those around me regardless of their appearance, features or chosen self-expression.

I understand that each person has their own personal journey and we all make mistakes. With that in mind, I will adjust my expectations of others, viewing any and all progress as 'enough.' Growth is the only reasonable expectation of myself and others. I will do my best to learn from mistakes, both mine and those around me.

Whenever possible, I will use my words & actions to uplift those around me.

I refuse to engage in hate, cattiness or cruelty among my colleagues, clients & consumers. In doing so, I will avoid harmful gossip and initiate kind, positive & uplifting conversation.

As a woman (if appliable), I will show my support to other ladies, without the fear of negative competition.

I reject all forms of prejudice & disrimination. I will serve my clients, consumers & community with open arms & kindness, regardless of my personal opinions.

I vow to work towards the goal of modernizing 'beauty' and supporting change with fellow businesses, leaders, consumers & workers within the community. I understand that if I am found unreasonably in breach of this personal pledge, I may be removed from the Healthy Hive Initiative's community.
